I don't know what I just watched, but I think I liked it. The best I can describe it is a mix of Alice in Wonderland mixed with Max Max. Given the very strange plot, combined with very little explicit exposition, it's actually a very thought provoking movie, as you try to discern why the main characters do what they do in this desert prison dystopia. Spoilers: I never imagined that I would actually watch a movie where the main character gets cannibalized in the first 10 minutes, then meets Keanu Reeves and his women's rave/baby cult, and then meets Jason Momoa who is a talented painter/cannibal and loving father, and ultimately hooks up with said cannibal/loving father ... but I just watched it, and I am strangely intrigued by it. I almost feel like a watched something equally beautiful and disturbing. If that intrigues you, I'd give this a rental.
