Wow. Powerful story of WWII Korean enslavement by Japanese in coal mines and their heroic, tragic, persistent fight to escape. Song Joong Ki, So Ji Sub and many lesser known Korean actors, actresses play amazing roles. This is one of many superbly written & acted Korean dramas not to miss!

the script is so good. there are a lot of characters to follow but each of their stories is worth watching
