"The Beguiled" is an atmospheric thriller from acclaimed writer/director Sofia Coppola, winner of the Best Director award at the 2017 Cannes International Film Festival. The story unfolds during the Civil War, at a Southern girls' boarding school. Its sheltered young women take in an injured enemy soldier. As they provide refuge and tend to his wounds, the house is taken over with sexual tension and dangerous rivalries, and taboos are broken in an unexpected turn of events. အဆင့်သတ်မှတ်ခြင်း၊ သုံးသပ်ခြင်း

There's a lot more going on than meets the eye in this atmospheric period piece. Farrell is good; Kidman is better. A steamy and close affair, worth savouring.

The Clint Eastwood version is much better , this was dull, Colin Farell wouldn't have been my choice to play the wounded soldier, not a great actor is he.

Why remake this? The original is an absolute masterpiece! Weird choice!
