This was a nice movie to watch and a great cast of some of my favorite BBC actors and actresses. The setting in India was wonderful to see. My only complaint would be that it was a little slow in spots but not much. I do recommend it as a movie to watch and enjoy. I'm planning to see the sequel soon.

she thinks it deserves 4 stars but i feel it is only an average sex and the city for geriatrics. however, Dame Judi Dench elevates everything she participates in. And bill nighy should have played his davey jones role more forcefully, like in pirates of the carribean

Wow, really?? Besides the brilliant actors, the story and script were awful, and the movie was poorly edited. I had such high hopes for this film, but was a complete letdown.
