she thinks it deserves 4 stars but i feel it is only an average sex and the city for geriatrics. however, Dame Judi Dench elevates everything she participates in. And bill nighy should have played his davey jones role more forcefully, like in pirates of the carribean

While my wife and I watched this delightful movie, we frequently commented how “comedy” an inaccurate term. It is a drama with comedic elements. I say this not to steer you away; watch it, enjoy it, but with the right expectations.

This was a nice movie to watch and a great cast of some of my favorite BBC actors and actresses. The setting in India was wonderful to see. My only complaint would be that it was a little slow in spots but not much. I do recommend it as a movie to watch and enjoy. I'm planning to see the sequel soon.
