Ratings and reviews

The first marigold hotel film was enjoyable and heart-warming but this was empty and flacid with poorly developed characters, rubbish incomplete plot lines, little humour and little joy. Waste of time and money and the actors involved ought to be ashamed of themselves.

We get Maggie Smith's humorous acting, and love and 2nd chances and a sad storyline about forbidden love. I want to go to India even more now.

Well acted by all. Highly enjoyable comedy and nice to be able to watch a film with my little boy in the room. Can't think of any films with Dame Judy Dench in that aren't good actually. Will be buying the 2nd Best Marigold film soon too.
