Not as good as some of the other Nicholas Sparks films, but still worth watching. It's quite different to the book - some things things I thought were better, and some things I found a little disapointing, but i thought the ending was done very very well, and I cried loads. More than I did at the book actually, which is rare for me. So it's because of the ending that I'm giving 5 stars

Sometimes life isn't a fairytale and you have to get on with it. This movie was portrayed that. It was my turn to choose the movie and we both cried. Some people who should of died in the movie lived. Following in the present and flash backs of the past wasn't too confusing.

Nice decent film for a change. James Marsden is so lovely. It was very moving and well cast despite older and younger Dawson character not looking at all like each other. Gerald McRaney (Tuck) so endearing. Great watch from beginning to end. My fella loved it too!!
