Together, they're like gasoline and a match in this volatile tale based on a novel by Elmore Leonard (Get Shorty) and brought to the screen again in 2003 with Owen Wilson, Sara Foster and Morgan Freeman. Here, Ryan O'Neal makes his feature-film debut as Jack, a hard-luck GI smitten with Nancy (Leigh Taylor-Young), and never stopping to think where her seductive spree of petty-crime kicks might end.
