About this movie

With an all-star cast led by Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, with Susan Sarandon and Robin Williams, THE BIG WEDDING is an uproarious romantic comedy about a charmingly modern family trying to survive a weekend wedding celebration that has the potential to become a full-blown family fiasco. To the amusement of their adult children and friends, long-divorced couple Don and Ellie Griffin (De Niro and Keaton) are once again forced to play the happy couple for the sake of their adopted son's wedding after his ultraconservative biological mother unexpectedly decides to fly halfway across the world to attend. With all of the wedding guests looking on, the Griffins are hilariously forced to confront their past, present and future - and hopefully avoid killing each other in the process.

I liked nothing about this movie. The characters are not likeable either are the people that played them with the exception of Robert DeNiro. How can you make Susan Sarandon unlikable? And i don't get Diane Keaton for any choice in a movie anymore... Katherine Heigl is annoying as well. This movie was just not good and the music was annoying.

This is a terrible mo vie! The story line touches on every sin known to man. The characters are selfish and lack any kind of morals and they all betray each other in such way that it is actually disgusting...not romantic, not funny, but sickening! Sad and nasty movie!

Words can't describe how horrible this movie was, but I'll give it a shot. The characters are unsympathetic and their motivations are unclear and change as needed by the plot.
