About this movie

Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson form a comic dream team in this smart, funny comedy from the director of The Devil Wears Prada and Marley & Me. Looking to shake up their routine lives, three amateur bird watchers compete to become the ultimate "birder" by spotting the greatest number of species within a single calendar year. But the friendly rivalry soon turns into a hilariously complicated cross-country adventure as each man begins to realize that the quest for success comes at a price — and that's not chicken feed!

Considering you have 3 different actors who have all played brilliant roles in other films separately this is one of the most boring and dull films I have watched in a long time. Sadly I watched it to the end in the hope that at some point it would actually be funny and step it up a notch. Alas its miserable, painful to watch and almost feels like these 3 actors took the job because they knew they wouldn't have to work hard (easy money). If your expecting big things and want a laugh look for another film.

I think that you may need to be a keen birder or twitcher to really appreciate the reallity of this film. I am not a big fan of Steve Martin, but I think this is one of the best films he has been in.

It's just a genuinely funny film, not ott, a great feel good film.
