Chic socialite Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren) enjoys a passing flirtation with an eligible attorney (Rod Taylor) in a San Francisco pet shop and, on an impulse, follows him to his hometown bearing a gift of lovebirds.

Certainly not Hitchcock's finest film release with birds on the attack with a very abrupt disappointing ending...did they go on the attack worldwide? We will never know. Hitchcock did some wonderful murder suspense drama with a touch of the macabre, but sadly this is not one of those films.

One of his best films ever! Well worth watching.
