Who takes a story about a socialite with a wild past trying to sort out her life and injects a horror film about people witnessing the beginnings of a bird apocalypse? Well apparently Hitchcock did and it absolutely works. I love how the characters seem to keep going on with their lives and only talk about the bird threat after a attack, then by the end all heck breaks loose and this horrible situation becomes their new reality. I do feel bad for Tippy and what she went through though. 😬

I admit, the technique is cheesy, but I loved this movie! Esp. love the cameo of the author, speaking of birds in the restaurant, getting their revenge for us ruining the environment, very silent spring of her, meeting Hitchcock, alto' she had her own eerie streak. watch Don't Look Now. and one other, very Gothic. escapes me at the mo

Pretty good. Kinda creepy, but, then again, I'm not exactly comfortable being near birds anyway. Great for it's time and holds up fairly well.
