Set against the antebellum South, THE BIRTH OF A NATION follows Nat Turner (Nate Parker), a literate slave and preacher, whose financially strained owner, Samuel Turner (Armie Hammer), accepts an offer to use Nat’s preaching to subdue unruly slaves. As he witnesses countless atrocities - against himself and his fellow slaves - Nat orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom.

Devil white men to lazy to crop cotton but not to build ships sail rough seas and hand pick AA by strength and abduct froma continent of war hardened Africans. THE BEST ACTORS, STORY OF TRUTH NOT ALL TOLD.. AMERICAN WHITES, THE THOUGHT TO TREAT ANY HUMAN LESS,THEN BECAUSE OF MELANIN IN THEIR SKIN. THEY ALL SHOULD BE HUNG FOR THE VIAL TREATMENT OF HUMANS. WHAT WHITES HAVE STOLEN IS A, TRAVESTY, THESE WHITES AND THE SLAVE TRADE MONEY STILL EXIST, AND NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO THE HIGHEST COURTS OF AMERICA FOR THEIR SAVAGE WHITE WEAK POWER THEY HELD IN SLAVERY, IF THEIR IS PROOF THAT A WHITE FAMILIES PROFITED OFF OF SLAVERY, THE MONEY SHOULD BE TAKEN ALSO LAND THAT WAS STOLEN.. THESE WHITES NEED TO PAY FOR THESE CRIMES THAT WERE, DONE, SLAVESHIPS, HUMANS BEING KIDNAPPED, GOD HOW MANY SLAVES DIED DUE TO THE WHITES LAWS OF OTHER HUMANS THEY HAVE AND STILL IN 2017 DESTROY!!! THIS FILM IS VERY POWERFUL..

Excellent Movie, well acted and directed. Trying to bring Nat Turner to life in a 2 hour movie took some real imagination. Whether or not this is a true depiction of Nat Turner's life remains to be seen. What this movie does is beg the question of was Nat Turner a patriot or a terrorist. Many see Nat as a revolutionist no different than George Washington. Others see him as a terrorist. Regardless of how you view him, he was acting on his belief that Slavery was an inhumane act against God's people and had to be eradicated by any means necessary.
