THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT follows a trio of filmmakers on what should have been a simple walk in the woods but quickly becomes an excursion into heart-stopping terror. As the three become inexplicably lost, morale deteriorates.
Hunger sets in. Accusations fly. As the end of their journey approaches, they realize that what they are filming now is not a legend...but their own descent into unimaginable horror.

Badly filmed, lots of shrieking and hysteria, much too obvious it was made in someone's back yard. One step up from the worst of low budget horror, which is why I give it two stars instead of one. Besides they should be held accountable as the bad influence that lead to further garbage cheese fest horror in the found footage genre like Paranormal Activity. Crap like this reminds me too much that I am watching something totally fake, it destroyed the break in the fourth wall.

All I kept thinking is...in order to care about characters they need to have SOME REDEEMING QUALITY. In this instance they were ALL too stupid to live ...friend bought tickets etc boy was he p#%&&sed and rightly so...unfortunately some theatergoers bought the whole kebab and both our I.Q.'s went down.

Growing up in Maryland, I know exactly where this movie was made. This movie is nothing but a joke to us, it's nothing more than anything to garnish publicly and create hype around a bunch of teenie boppers. I couldn't sit through 5 minutes of this movie it was so awful and badly executed. Anyone who falls for this is just drinking the koolaid.
