On the surface, Saya is a stunning 17 year old, but her beautiful exterior hides the tormented soul of a 400-year-old. Born of a human father and vampire mother, Saya (Gianna Jun) has been obsessed for centuries with using her samurai skills to rid the world of vampires even though she requires blood to survive just like the monsters she hunts. Now, after hundreds of years, Saya has the chance to finally destroy the evil matriarch of all vampires while ridding an American military base in Tokyo of a vampire infestation. Using her sword and superhuman strength, Saya battles her way through a series of showdowns, but only when she forms her first human friendship in centuries does Saya learn that her greatest power over her enemies may be her ability for human connection.
