About this movie

The Dakota Territories 1879. A handful of brave pioneers maintain isolated settlements in the badlands beyond civilization. Irish immigrant Fergus Coffey is near to winning the hand of his beloved Maryanne when she is suddenly taken from him, her family brutally abducted in a nighttime attack on their homestead. Suspicion falls immediately on hostile Indians. Experienced Indian fighters Will Parcher and John Clay form a posse and set out to rescue the kidnapped settlers. But as men vanish in the night, and horrific evidence accumulates with the dead and dying, the group discovers that their prey is far more terrifying than anything human, and their prospects are far more terrible than death.

Wasn't good in any way. Wasn't scary, music was boring for a Western film, action felt so fake, the dialogue was passable at best, monsters looked kinda interesting but we're underwhelming. Nobody in this film acted how people would act in this scenario. Definitely pass on this movie. Ain't worth the time.... Even in quarantine.... Please go watch paint dry instead.

This movie is characters first, monsters second. Despite the extremely low-budget of everything, you can tell the director & actors had a vision and really tried to deliver something original. Depressing ending, really the overall tone of the film, is very downbeat but I was still surpised by it and really enjoyed this movie. Put this flick on the shelf right next to Bone Tomahawk👍

A very long boring ride to a silly ending. The acting was good, the locations were drab and the building interiors looked like a wild-west tourist trap recreation. A couple of the characters were interesting, but I didn't care if they lived to the end or not.
