From writer/producer Joss Whedon (THE AVENGERS), comes a sci-fi horror film unlike any you've seen before – or is it? Curt (Chris Hemsworth) and a rambunctious group of college friends steal away for a weekend of debauchery in an isolated cabin, only to be attacked by horrific supernatural creatures in a night of endless terror. Sound familiar? Just wait. As the teens begin to exhibit standard horror movie behavior, a group of technicians in a control room are manipulating every move they make! With their efforts continually thwarted by the all-powerful eye in the sky, do they have any chance of escape?

this movie may be one of the worst things ive seen. first of all im pretty sure this is a rip off of the evil dead. the story was cliche, the characters were overdone and contrived and the writing was downright painful. literally had to turn it off halfway through cuz i was gonna kill myself out of boredom. not even scary and if i could blast all copies of this movie into outer space i would. 0/10, would force my worst enemies to watch this.

Is this movie supposed to be a parody of all the tropes, an homage to the classics, or both? I can't quite figure it out. On more than one occasion, the story and its execution take sharp turns from "so bad it's good" into "so good it's good", only to fall back into "so bad it's good" a bit later. I really enjoyed the premise and most of the acting. I'm pretty lukewarm about the plot, though, and especially the pacing.

The ending was absolute DOG WATER, I wasted 3.99 of my hard earned dollars to blow off an hour and 30 minutes I will never get back. Only giving 1 star because there is nothing lower. 0/10 not drunk enough for this.
