A movie the whole family can enjoy together. Sometimes the CGI effects can take you out of the movie but that's only a minor complaint and other times you cannot tell that Buck the dog and the other animals are computer generated. Adventure, laughs, suspense and good life lessons and morals thrown into the mix. Might be a bit scary in some scenes for young viewers.Animal lovers will most likely flinch or get upset with scenes of animal cruelty but they are executed without much violence at all.

Brilliant movie. I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the CGI and why they didn't use real dogs. This is the best way to go, saves from putting animals through what the CGI dogs went through. Story was great as well and it had everything. If people actually read the book they would see why they didn't go fully based from that, it's a great book but full of animal abuse and violence. Very happy with this movie.

was an OK movie but the CGI effects made the movie a bit of a let down, the CGI makes the movie makers look lazy.. i would have given the movie 4 stars but the CGI ruined it so its only worth 2
