Brilliant. Very thought-provoking , many layers to this drama,tackles lots of big questions, with a subtle and sensitive approach. Excellent performances. Emma Thompson really becomes the judge, very dedicated to her work in the family court. It's a very emotional performance, portraying a woman who has to keep her emotions out of her work , and is finding that increasingly difficult as she reaches a crisis . We loved this film, hadn't realised it was based on an Ian McEwan novel .Beautiful film.

Excellent performances from Thompson, Tucci and Whitehead. Totally enjoyed, excellent storyline. Highly recommend 😊
