After the success of Pitch Black the powers that be threw a tonne of money at David Towhy to make a sequel. All of that cash is on screen with some great sets and set pieces. Overall the film is campy sci-fi nonsense BUT it`s enjoyable campy sci-fi nonsense and is one of my guilty pleasures to watch on a night shift. Don't set your expectations too high, just enjoy it for what it is.

Yeah I liked the first one I thought it was a clever movie. This film was a bad sequel just really not a good movie. It was not that entertaining at all. And at some points the movie really made me won't to fall asleep. Yeah it was bad.

I really did enjoy the Chronicles of Riddick when it first came out and nearly a decade on it is still a very fun and easy to watch film.
