Prima di Amityville, ci fu Harrisville. The Conjuring racconta la raccapricciante storia vera di Ed e Lorraine Warren, rinomati investigatori dell'occulto, chiamati ad aiutare una famiglia terrorizzata da una presenza oscura in un casale isolato. Costretti ad affrontare una potente entità demoniaca, i Warren si trovano nel bel mezzo del caso più terrificante della loro vita. Vera Farmiga e Patrick Wilson sono gli investigatori mentre Ron Livingston e Lili Taylor interpretano la famiglia Perron tormentata da spiriti sinistri in questo horror realizzato dagli sceneggiatori di The Reaping e il creatore della saga Saw.

Valutazioni e recensioni

Fantastic movie - very creepy, great character development, and superb acting all-around! The climax is a testament to the power of human relationships and, imho, inspiring. My one critique is the stereotyping of witches being devil-worshippers - I'd say that's largely untrue and that plot point could have been ditched altogether. Well-worth the watch nonetheless.

Loved this movie. Great story line, and it's believable. I truly believe it happened the way they described. Still need to set up am phone all the way. Love yah girly

Great movie, Creepy and scary, It happened to a real family too, My mom still got this on dvd, The second one is good too, The third one was weak, James wan is a great director
