Acerca de esta película

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. The Conjuring tells the horrifying true story of Ed and Lorraine Warren, world renowned paranormal investigators, who were called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives. Oscar® nominee Vera Farmiga (The Departed) and Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson (Insidious) play the investigators while Golden Globe nominee Ron Livingston (Band of Brothers) and Emmy® nominee Lili Taylor (Six Feet Under) play the Perron family plagued by sinister spirits in this dark chiller from the writers of The Reaping and the creator of the Saw films.

I know, everyone loves it.. I expect more from my horror films than over the top CGI effects, over explaining plots, and filmmakers assuming we all have the attention span of flies and therefore packing insane amounts of plot twists into a movie that honestly could have decent if it had just stuck to the (allegedly) true story that it's based on. This film actually made me groan out loud more than once.

It's incredibly dull, not even slightly creepy, and has as its protagonists two very real scumbag con artists (Ed and Lorraine Warren). A failure on all levels, it's an embarrassment to horror, and cinema in general. Having been responsible for the abysmal Saw, director James Wan is now officially the worst thing to ever happen to horror.

Many reviews stated that the first Insidious was amazing. Granted it was one of the best if not the best jump scare movies I've seen. Ive watched my share of underground horror, non mainstream. but I absolutely loved insidious. So I had high hopes for this film. I was so let down. Gone is the eerie discordant violin soundtrack by Joseph bishara. As well as the dredfull stark black and white. Honestly This movie lacks the jumps as well as the foreboding nature that Insidious quite well induced. This sucked
