This movie is bad. Such a mess. They keep saying based on true story but the movie is beyond supernatural more like super powers. The woman psychic has develop some crazy powers since the last conjuring and it made more plot holes. The scares were weak also. Don't believe the good reviews and don't waste your time and money

I absolutely loved this edition of the franchise as it went much deeper into the occult than the others. These were death curses they were dealing with something at that time Ed and Lorraine Warren faced. That’s why Lorraine is terrified in this one compared to the others. The others they knew what they were facing. But in this one the villain takes mystical steps to stay hidden. I was very glad that they did something different because things were starting to get stale. But I think anyone who is a fan of this franchise to give this one a chance as it’s full of twists and turns and who done its. I liked it the best out of all of them Annabelle included.

This movie is very psychologicaly scary. I am 51 yrs old and have been a thriller buff my entire life. I thought it was impossible to get me, boy was I wrong!! I watched it at 1:00 am, alone on my phone in the dark on the sofa,. And I was terrified from the first minuit to the last. Very well done Bravo🥺
