While I expected eye candy in service of a silly plot, I did not expect to have my intelligence so wholly insulted by it. Sure, we'll need a few bits of plot-device technology, and they are both appealing & engaging. And the visuals were worthy enough. But about 30 minutes in, the writing turned suddenly stupid. Physics stopped being bent, and was instead broken. Characters predictably killed for effect, not cause. Plotting and dialogue were turned over to an 8-year-old. I want my 2 hours back.

I really enjoyed this movie but the movie does begin to just show the actors in a small ship environment, so as long as you have a good imagination and pay attention to it then I think most action packed movie lovers may like this. I am not purchasing it though! Maybe if the price they want to rent it for was the sale price then I would buy it. I already have it on DVD anyway! By the time you get your movie Collection built up, then there is something new you have to pay for it to watch!!!
