I soo wanted to see this when it first came out in theaters, but, didn't get to. So, I decided to watch it when it was ran on tv; I was highly disappointed. I found it to be a bit annoying and not easy follow. For example: I remember one part where a rock or something hit a guy in the head and killed him- it showed him die then showed that the rock is what killed him. And there were a few more scenes that used that same technique. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it and I can usually push myself to finish movie. In my opinion, it was a interesting plot and had potential, but, fell short of greatness.... What a shame :(

I give it 3.5 so have to round up... And yes duh.. anyone with a pulse over 2 knows that the science of actually doing what the movie is about (traveling portion) is so beyond possible with any technology or capabilities we are anywhere close to having. But that's also why it is a science FICTION movie... and to take something sooo 'impossible' I actually find it pretty entertaining and only mildly cheesy.. If you can not pick it a part bc you are a Geologist or a professor of thermodynamics and worry about why every thing is so impossible then it's entertaining specially to watch something different for a change.

Reading some of the hate reviews brings to mind an old saying, "ignorance is bliss". Now if this is so, then so too must be true that knowledge is the death of joy. My point being, we watch shows for entertainment purposes, so put aside your worldly knowledge for a few hours and just enjoy the escape from reality...which is why you watch these shows in the first place, right? This is a movie definitely worth watching, unless ofcourse you feel the need to base everything on real world truths. Enjoy.
