In 1692, in the Ipswich Colony of Massachusetts, five families with untold power formed a covenant of silence. One family, lusting for more, was banished'their bloodline disappearing without a trace. This is basically the same Hollywood prepackaged film that they've done a million times before. For example The Craft. Only in this instead of girls it's boys. Then 1 of the boys gets power hungry and wants all the magic, killing the rest of the group off except for the so called chosen warlock. Who is the only one who can stop the bad kid, save the town, get the girl, all while having perfectly coiffed hair. Typical hero saves day. All that being said its an ok popcorn film.

Some if the cheesiest lines come from this movie. All of the actors look near identical. At one point in the movie a character transforms into another character, but you have to rewind to make sure it isn't the same actor

This has been one of my favorite movies since I've first watched it. There is a cliche love story type plot, but if you're into magic or supernatural type movies then this is a must see. The effects are great. I definitely recommend this film.
