Rusty Walker (William Demarest) flies to a small town in Montana hoping to sign Harry Lynn (Bert Wheeler) to the Chicago Packers. Lynn is a very talented football player, and Walker is thrilled to sign him. But Lynn has one condition: His girlfriend, Maizie (Marie Wilson), must come with him. Walker agrees, but soon regrets his decision. Walker's own girlfriend (Gloria Dickson) takes a shine to Lynn, and Maizie gets in trouble when she and Lynn start racking up debts with local gamblers.
