Es waren einmal die Croods: In der fernen Vergangenheit des Jahres 2013 verließ die Höhlenmenschenfamilie zum ersten Mal ihre sichere Behausung und konnte neben einer Oscar®-Nominierung weltweit die Herzen des Kinopublikums für sich gewinnen. Jedermann erkannte sich wieder im komödiantischen Kampf des Clans gegen eine sich rapide wandelnde Welt, in der der Stellenwert der Familie nicht das Einzige ist, was sich seit Urzeiten erstaunlich wenig verändert hatte. Im Dezember 2020 lädt DreamWorks Animation nun mit DIE CROODS -- ALLES AUF ANFANG erneut zur Zeitreise ein. Die chaotische Truppe um Familienoberhaupt Grug erwartet eine Herausforderung, die mindestens so erschütternd ist wie das Erdbeben, das einst seine geliebte Höhle in Schutt und Asche legte: Sie treffen auf eine andere Familie, die scheinbar in der Evolution schon ein paar Stufen weiter entwickelt ist. Der phantasievolle Kinospaß von Dreamworks Animation führt die Zuschauer zurück in eine längst vergessene Zeit und erzählt ein neues Abenteuer voller Humor für die ganze Familie.

Enjoy the movie 🍿🍿 iThe Croods need a new place to live. So, the first prehistoric family sets off into the world in search of a safer place to call home. When they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise that meets all their needs, they think their problems are solved ... except for one thing. Another family already lives there: the Bettermans. .

My children and my wife had a blast watching this movie! This a good movie, a different humor I have to say. It captures what future in-laws may go through when their children entangle for marriage. When your child brings hers/his partner home as an unexpected guest who is very different or has different customs than you expected. -The lost of your child to adulthood and marriage. It explains why Guy is so much more mentally advanced than The Croods, and it also shows The Croods not only evolving mentally and as a group (society) but overall physically as well, as they are seen taking a more erect posture rather than standing on all four legs like in the first movie. The movie is a very good compliment and continuation to the first movie and definitely leaves you wanting for more, now that the new generation will most likely have yet another generation with new adventures as The Croods and Bettermans continue to evolve in the ever changing worlds. I am excited to add this to my digital library and I am certainly looking forward to many more Croods and Bettermans adventures in the future.

I must have missed the part where you can rewind at the movie theatre, they have a babysitter and buy tickets and snacks for a family for less than $20. It will come out to buy on the normal timeline and I for one was really happy that we could watch this at home vs my kids seeing the previews over and over and me having to tell them that our theaters are closed and you know COVID. This was a great follow up to a kids movie we love! The characters are great and the storyline kept us entertained!
