The fourth film in the dark superhero franchise brings an epic tale of death, revenge and redemption. Just as ex-con Jimmy Cuervo tries to straighten out his life, he and his girlfriend Lily are brutally murdered in a satanic ritual by a renegade biker gang. Payback is at hand when Cuervo rises from the dead - with the power of The Crow - to avenge Lily's death and reunite with her in the afterlife. Ive watched Brandon Lee's and Vincent Perez' version of the crow which are a bit better both story and character wise. This movie feels more like a fan made movie, not to say its bad. It suffers on pacing near the end and feels like a weird comedy more than a "The Crow" film at some points. If you are watching to follow a good story, you might be let down. However, if you are watching for fun and just want some action scenes with someone as the crow then its a subpar movie. Just feels a bit off.
