About this movie

Many years ago, a little boy was born in Tibet, and he was chosen to become the 14th Dalai Lama. But the little boy had a secret, locked inside his heart. In the new film, "The Dalai Lama -- Scientist", the Dalai Lama tells this unknown story about his lifelong journey into the world of science and technology, and how the world has changed as a result. With extensive, rare, never before seen footage, "The Dalai Lama -- Scientist" tells the very human story of the Dalai Lama that no one knows.

Ahh the slaver made a movie based on fiction. Not sure why people ignore his heinous acts, just because he preaches for peace oh, does not mean he's a good man. He's also no scientist, and although he's worth 150 million he acts as if he is poor to scam famous people.

A truly insightful adventure into the life of one of the champions of Humanity. For someone who's life seems so public, there was so much that I didn't know about the Dalai Lama that I learnt through this film. I read 'The Universe in a Single Atom' a few years ago and it was in this book that I first learnt of his immense grasp and balance of scientific inquiry and spiritual reverence. Exploring everything from Darwinism and karma, quantum mechanics and philosophical insight into the nature of reality, neurobiology and the study of consciousness. This film, very aptly titled, goes deeper that the book, looking at his childhood and early experiences with great scientific names. Showing a side of the Dalai Lama that many people would not know. Well done! <3

It was so inspirational to be reminded of what we can learn, from and about, the world that we share with everyone. The Dalai Lama is a true gift to humanity. His teaching and common-sense science approach to the world are traits sorely needed in today's society, especially of the U.S. I need to watch again to see what I may have missed. I appreciate his sharing - I wish more people would watch and relate...
