Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood ("Unforgiven," "Million Dollar Baby") is once again San Francisco homicide detective Dirty Harry in the fifth installment of the Dirty Harry films. While investigating a series of seemingly coincidental murders, Harry discovers a macabre list containing the names of those victims and possible victims to come -- one of which is Harry himself. Co-starring Academy Award-nominee Liam Neeson ("Schindler's List," "Kinsey") and boxoffice phenomenon and Golden Globe-winner Jim Carrey ("Batman Forever," "The Majestic"). Clint was still in fine form when he made this one. You can easily sense Harry's budding romance with reporter Samantha Walker (Patricia Clarkson) as well as his great fit with new homicide officer Al Quan (Evan Kim). This one also helped launch the careers of actors like Liam Neeson & Jim Carrey.

It manages to capture the same thing the other films did, and it also helped launch some careers.

No complaints. Eastwood was still in rare form at this point in his career.
