3rd string nobody "bands" featured with very short interviews by real rock stars. Mostly about ugly dudes with very marginal talent dressed like women and the sad girls who desperately follow them. Knowing how this all turned-out for the majority of these guys,(at least the ones who survived:see the 'Heroin Diaries"for example and Ozzie's "Ordinary Man" video),should be the "story".

Demetaling is genius. It would be cool if whoever owns the rights to this film would re-release it. I think The Decline Of Western Civilization Pt 2. would have a profound impact on the music industry and fans of contemporary music both of which have become just as self indulgent, self-destructive and for criminal behavior as a way to cope with deep personal issues or deal with interpersonal conflicts, as Metal did during the filming of this movie. There were many sobering images in this film especially when Ozzy said, "it's inevitable," which is so true. Definitely buying this film and more than likely going to be satisfied with Pt. 1 and Pt. 3. Loved that I took Biological Psychology before watching this film because it nailed addictive behavior.

I love this documentary and the original punk one. Many of these bands are beyond cheesey and sound dated, but it's a cool snapshot of a time when garbage music ruled the world and David Lee Roth and EVH set loose a thousand forgettable knockoffs
