Ambushed at their isolated home by Sheriff Wydell (William Forsythe) and a squad of armed men|the Firefly family wakes up one morning with guns blazing - yet only Otis (Bill Moseley) and his sister|Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie)|manage to escape the barrage of bullets unharmed. Hiding out in a backwater motel|the wanted siblings wait to rendez-vous with their errant father|Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig)|killing whoever happens to stand in their way.

This is one horror movie I can and will watch over and over, loving it more every time.... every time I hear 'freebird' I get all warm and fuzzy because of the end of this flick.

Terrible, boring, dreadful, gory and whatever else you want to say doesn't sum up this crappy film.

One of my all-time FAVORITE movies. The plot is genius, the acting is great, but I might suggest watching House of 1000 Corpses to get the idea of the characters. Rob Zombie also included a bit of sick comedy... Which hits the spot. What's weird is that I fell in love with the sadistic minds of the Firefly family. I suggest watching... You won't be disappointed. (:
