À propos de ce film

The true-story of aspiring filmmaker and infamous Hollywood outsider Tommy Wiseau (James Franco); a celebration of friendship and dreams pursued against insurmountable odds. Based on the best-selling tell-all about the making of Tommy's cult-classic disasterpiece The Room.

I never liked James Franco in anything until this movie. He played a great role as Tommy Wiseau's character. The movie follows his friend Greg, and he's very like-able played by Dave Franco. It's a movie about an epically cringe movie, so it has a ton of cringey moments. It may be hard to watch at parts, but you really don't have to watch the movie that closely to follow it well enough. Seth Rogan played a great role in this. It didn't feel like a movie propped up by the fact that all the actors are friends, but it felt like a fairly touching comedic tale of the cult classic The Room, and how it has lived on. Worth the $5 rental.

I love this movie so much. My friend and I watched the original on a drunk binge one night and loved it. When i found out they were making this, I made sure we were going to see it the first day it was in theaters. Totally worth it. I bought the book soon after and then bought the movie, and considering buying the digital copy here since my boyfriend happened to lose my physical copy. Love this movie, I've seen it a hundred times and will see it a hundred more.

An absolutely hilarious movie, but that wasn't the only selling point. It was a very great story about two friends with a dream and all of the problems that came from the filming of that movie. Also even with that movie being bad I felt it was a very inspiring movie to see how much effort was put into making that movie at all costs. As Tommy Wiseau said, "I finished what I started" and to me that is admirable.
