À propos de ce film

ADHD is one of the most commonly diagnosed-and widely misunderstood-neurological conditions in the world today, affecting nearly 10% of kids and a rising number of adults. But what if having an ADHD brain is actually an asset? A growing number of innovators, entrepreneurs, CEO's, Olympic athletes, and award-winning artists have recently disclosed that their ADHD, managed effectively, has played a vital role in their success. The Disruptors hears from many of those game-changing people about their ADHD, and takes an immersive look at our approach to ADHD that debunks the most harmful myths, and intimately takes viewers inside a number of families as they navigate the challenges - and the surprising triumphs - of living with ADHD.

This is an incredible film. It's finally an accurate, heartfelt (sometimes heartbreaking) depiction of a mental health disorder than has been so misunderstood for so long. The interviews were fantastically done, interesting, and gives amazing insight for those who many not know much about ADHD. I cannot recommend viewing this project, enough. Everyone who worked on it should be proud!

An engaging and emotionally moving film that gave me insight into something that a great number of others are dealing with. I found myself cheering for so many people in this movie; I would love to see how things work out for them in the future. Kind of stunning to see how many current celebrities and past historical figures have had so much success by turning a “handicap” into a superpower.

This documentary is a must-see for anyone dealing with ADHD in their family. My teenage daughter struggles with ADHD and this documentary really elucidated what she has been going through, how she feels, and what the distractions on her concentration are like. Kristin Seymour was remarkable - she so clearly understands the mindsets of these children, and is able to translate what they are going through for the rest of us! You can feel her empathy and deep dedication for helping these kids. And Dr. Ned Hallowell showed such compassion and understanding for the plight of the ADHD child! Most importantly, the film shined by showing us the beauty of the ADHD mind - the absolutely amazing things it can do! Seeing all those successful and famous people helps one remember that if ADHD is properly harnessed, it can end up being a gift!
