The first one's plot gets blended with the other two clone movies - Hunger Games and Maze Runner. They're all basically the same. The sequels in this series have the added advantage of being boring as well as unevenly paced. You'll walk away not remembering any of the characters, but it makes for a great way to pass time on an international flight.

First movie was really well done, second movie was not the best, 3rd movie im not sure if I want to see it because of the second one. Now, if you have not read the books you might think that the last 2 were good but it would make a lot more since if you read the books.

I read the books and loved them. I was so excited to see the movies. Divergent was okay but it could have been way better and closer to the book. (Tris was NOT taller than Christina in the book.) Insurgent was not along the plot of the book whatsoever which completely changed Allegiant. I have not seen Allegiant and have no interest in it after seeing the trailer At least it wasn't as bad as the Percy Jackson movies.
