Only immature or intellectually limited viewers will find anything positive in this cheap movie. This is a completely failed story that makes no sense. No character and no plot element make sense. At best it is unintentionally funny but mostly it's just ridiculous. And no the effects and action are not good either but bad and worse. Acting is not credible but in this case it's not the actors fault. Also you really can't compare with HG franchise. In fact the HG books and movies are in a totally different league.

It's an awful book, the plot is overused (main character against the government), the plot is everywhere and makes no sense by the second book, the MC is annoying as heck, and the worst one; unnecessary romance. I'm guessing the romance was put in just to get teen girls to read the series. And either way, the story gets worse as it goes along. I couldn't even finish the second book, let alone the rest of the series. Just plain awful in my opinion.

This movie is awesome! It touches on all of my favorite cliches, copies many of my favorite other movies, and delivers on the very best of social stereotypes. If fact, it is so good, that I felt like I was seeing into the future 5 min at a time! I was able to see exactly what was going to happen only minuets before it did! How awesome is that! This was the best $3.99 investment I've ever made via Google Play Store.
