Eric Fox (A.J. Buckley of TV's CSI: NY, TV's SUPERNATURAL) finds himself running for his life when a reclusive writer gives him a rod that shows him visions of the future. A momentous astronomical event occurs as the earth's solar system aligns with the Milky Way's galactic equator causing previously unseen forces to start to pull the earth apart at the seams. Teaming up with a sexy archaeologist (Jewel Staite of TV's STARGATE ATLANTIS, TV's FIREFLY), Eric must use the rod to uncover an age-old mystery and save the planet from destruction, all while evading rogue government agents, including Alan Dale (TV's LOST, TV's ENTOURAGE).

It could be a good movie if you replaced all the actors, directors, key grips, producers, caterers, writers, wardrobe, stunt people, people that made the cameras used to film the movie, video editors and the air that was wasted by the people breathing during the making of this movie. Then, just then, you might have a b grade flick.

I was pleasantly suprised at this disaster movie. Of course one can't go wrong with an actor from the series "Firefly" either! More believable than most of these types of movies....and the woman is smart.....doesn't trip and fall and act all frail. It was an ok view.

I agree with the 1st review. Replace all the crew actor's except Alan Dale. And that's my only reason to sit through it. I wish I could know how long this TOP notch actor will be in a movie, since he's a one scene man. Those 2 were lucky to be in his presents, I hope they respected him. I wish A.D was in my time. And if I was his agent, he'd have the best car commercial And beer. And he'd get whatever role without question
