On July 5, 1968 The Doors took to the stage of the Hollywood Bowl for a concert that has since passed into legend. Now for the first time the original film footage from the Hollywood Bowl has been digitally scanned and restored to present the show better and more complete than it's ever been seen before, with 2 previously cut tracks returned to the running order and with sound newly remixed and mastered from the original multitrack tapes by The Doors' engineer and co-producer Bruce Botnick. This is now the definitive edition of this famous performance.

One of the most legendary performances out of a short lived Jim Morrison. We hear all the hits on all the high notes. You can't help but sink into your seat as the Doors take over the Bowl on this night of July.

I was at this concert, my Uncle Wayne took us, my girlfriend and me, we were 13, and my Uncle was 18. I remember some wild stuff on stage and wish I remembered more. Now that I think about it this was very close to Wayne's 19th birthday...it was the Doors, Steppenwolf and the Chambers Brothers 💙 Wish I kept my ticket stub.

Live From The Bowl in 1968 is the greatest live performance from The Doors & will always remain legendary. Must have!
