For someone who loves period dramas and poignant acting, this movie was a jem. My heart goes out to Georgiana Spencer who suffered innumerable injustices and yet shone forth as a beacon during her time.

All the elements of to compose the movie is perfect to tell a sad history. A woman forced to live a miserable life just to keep contact with her kids.

Brilliant movie that had me crying at one point. Wasn't a fan of Keira Nightly before watching this, now i love her.
