i had the great privilege to speak with Stefan about his wonderful work and was happy to share what he had to say here: https://thelongshotist.com/2015/12/13/just-a-guy-who-played-dd/ It was incredibly exciting to finally get to see this film and i hope many people watch this documentary and are as inspired by him not only to play D&D but to just follow their hearts and stay true to themselves. as regards the film specifically, i really enjoyed the interweaving of the personal story of his life sprinkled throughout, the scenes of great gaming taking place at the table, seeing rather than talking about the different places he's been and the warmth of spirit. it was all put together well under the umbrella narrative of his masterpiece kickstarter project.

Some documentaries you are not quite sure what road it will take you. That is why I chose a seemingly obscure topic as such - Dungeons and Dragons?. But as I discovered Stefan Pokorny is such a creative an inspiring individual that is on a quest - as I and hope everyone aspires to be on,- that you root along for this guy. He inspires me to get back and explore my creative abilites and start living an inspired life.

This brings back memories. It portrays D&D in the best possible light. Easily watchable multiple times because it's all about looking at art. It's my kind of art.
