Denzel Washington is Robert McCall, an ex-assassin with a mysterious past, who returns to action to serve vengeance for the exploited and oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.

Unfortunately, parts of this film were in Italian language and the English subtitles did not provide a translation. This meant that in some scenes the dialog between characters could not be understood and therefore parts of the story line made no sense. Google Support denied a refund, and I suspect they will not publish this review.

Great concept But sucks that I have no idea what they are saying half the time. Italian subtitles don’t work on apple rental so was like watching a foreign film not and American one.

Unfortunately these movies are very few and far between. A++ Movie. Hollywood should take note, but I'm sure they are too busy with their Satanic Agenda.
