- ध्यान दिलाएं कि यह गलत है
This movie almost entirely takes place in a courtroom, cutting back and forward to scenes of the time before Emily died. Everything feels flat and fails to have any emotional impact. The juxtaposition of the slow paced courtroom and the fast paced horror scenes just leaves the film feeling flat. Imagine taking a demonic possession based horror film, like the exorcist or the conjuring and then splicing it with scenes from "law and order". The movie cannot build any sense of fear, suspense or anticipation because the courtroom environment is too sterile and the priest says he doesn't care if he goes to prison, so nothing ever feels at stake. All good horror movies make the audience feel a sense of danger from which the characters in the film need to escape from, such as a haunted house, a ghost or spooky object, it's something this movie fails to do. Also we are never told why Emily was possessed in the first place, the evil in this movie is very vague. I had hopes for this movie because of it's 4+ stars, however, it's just a slow, flat, dull movie without any real twists, surprises or moments of tension.
