In “The Expendables 3”, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to, end the Expendables, but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

So much worse than the first two. I am a big fan of most of these actors, but this flick did a huge injustice to the first film. I also did not appreciate the blatant homosexual agenda tossed in at the end. These movies were made for just a few reasons. To see EPIC sized action at a completely unbelievable and ridiculous scale and to see an underdog come through to defy death an absurd amount of times and be the victor at the end. They were not meant for furthering Hollywood's disgusting social agendas.

Ya there was some crappy cgi and maybe some cheesy scenes and maybe the movie was "weak" in that category but you know what an 8 Billion dollar movie with a crap story line will never make money but a low budget (crap cgi)and a great story makes a great movie. The expendables, who were once just a bunch of old guys willing to get their hands dirty has turned into a new generation of bright "youngsters" to continue on... The Expendables.

Bad writing and pace make this the toughest Expendables flick to sit through. Performances by Harrison Ford and especially Mel Gibson were weak due to the very limited screen time for both and unimaginative cookie cutter villain role for Gibson. The action is good, if a little too over the top in some points. Overall, if you're looking to jump back in with your favorite action stars of the past, this is a solid rental.
