THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE is an intimate look at the extraordinary rise, fall and redemption of televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker (Jessica Chastain). In the 1970s and '80s, Tammy Faye and her husband, Jim Bakker (Andrew Garfield), rose from humble beginnings to create the world's largest religious broadcasting network and theme park. At first, they were revered for their messages of love, acceptance and prosperity. All the while, Tammy Faye was legendary for her indelible eyelashes, idiosyncratic singing, and eagerness to embrace people from all walks of life. However, it wasn't long before financial improprieties, scheming rivals, and scandal toppled their carefully constructed empire. Directed by Michael Showalter and written by Abe Sylvia, THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE also features Cherry Jones and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Just after watching the eyes of Tammy Faye and I have to say it was a really great movie. Jessica chastain and Andrew garfield both gave remarkable performance's as both Tammy Faye baker and Jim baker and the transformations they went through to show us the ageing process of the characters was truly exceptional it was amazing to see when they first met in 1960 until they divorced in 1992. Jessica chastain was phenomenal in this role I'm hoping she get that Oscar she deserves
