À propos de ce film

Presented by David Fincher (The Social Network) and Spike Jonze (Where The Wild Things Are), The Fall is a "breathtakingly imaginative" (EMPIRE MAGAZINE) treat from visionary filmmaker Tarsem (Immortals), destined to linger long in the imagination, giving wings to the grand spirit of adventure and charm of storytelling.
In 1920s Los Angeles whilst rehabilitating in hospital after a fall? year-old Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) strikes up an unlikely friendship with Hollywood stuntman Roy (Lee Pace, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn). Recovering from a near fatal accident and a personal betrayal, Roy is a broken man and recognises in Alexandria's eyes the innocence and glistening reflection of unconditional optimism. He begins to tell of a magical, mythological land ruled by Governor Odious and the 5 extraordinary heroes charged to defeat him - an enthralling story of colour, texture and immense riches unravels and it is only when the lines between reality and fantasy begin to blur that Alexandria realises how much there is at stake. 2006 GOOGLY FILMS, LLC.

by the end of the fleeting 2 hours, I was stunned, shattered to pieces, and reborn into reality from a translucent dream. Now my favourite film, breath taking visuals and even more beauty can be found in its story. The effortless narration of a child-like fantasy so authentic, it drenched right through a deeply moving quest for salvation, that made my heart achingly aware I was in the presence of something extremely special. The epic journey felt light as a feather by its humour, which also made the heartbreak unbearably heavier and its ending that much more satisfying. By the end of the fleeting 2 hours, I was stunned, shattered to pieces, and reborn into reality from a translucent dream.

Visually sumptuous, with a complex and layered story that repays close attention. Maybe a little over-long, but you'll forgive that as you enjoy one of the most beautiful films you'll ever see.
