The Voyager space launch in 1977 is one of humankind's greatest achievements. More than twelve billion miles away, a tiny spaceship is leaving our Solar System and entering the void of deep space - the first human-made object ever to do so. Slowly dying within its heart is a nuclear generator that will beat for perhaps another decade before the lights on Voyager finally go out. I remember seeing each encounter as a child on childrens tv as they happened spell bound . This Documentry opened up another layer of discovery .

Excellent, touching and humbling, you have to see if any interest in space and our legacy as a species.

Fantastic documentary. Never realised how lucky they got to make the mission a 100% success.
