About as dumb as a movie can get. I was a fan of all the other Purges but this one was horrible. Stereotypical black drug dealers who saves the day from the horrible white guys. The stereotyping in the movie is bad enough, but then throw in the terrible acting and predictable plot, it is hands down one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Sad, cause they had a good concept, they just ruined it with the acting and storyline.

So many loop holes in the story, I feel it would've been better off just not explaining the beginning and keeping the viewer wondering how America got to this point. They have the "test" in a very violent neighborhood. Since they were trying to be scientific it would make more sense to have the first trial in a "medium" risk level area, not the projects. The first half was pretty good, the were recruiting criminals to act more crazy, and actually purge people. That made more sense in my mind. But then the last half they send in mercenaries/soldiers. This makes it so the purge would NEVER pass, because of all the military grade armor, and weapons lying around everywhere. Not only that, but there were so many survivors left over that knew what actually happened, and all the bodies with literal tattoos of mercenary companies. I mean... Give me a break. Really disappointing because the acting was very good, and the action was great. Much less suspenseful than the others however. This is actually the only reason I didn't give this a 1 star.

After the others purge movies this one had a off agenda. You thought you'd see a story more not swaying to this degree. It turned into watching the government and Klu Klux Klan taking out the less fortunate to make the purge experiment successful. A king pin drug dealer with weapons training, close quarter combat and all the people in his circle was about that level was the heroes ended up kind of stupid.
