I have loved this movie since I was a child of 11 years old. Some of the content is a bit mature for an 11-year old boy but still it's nothing you wouldn't see on today's shows. I love the fact that the genre's are bent, overlapping each-other in some scenes from Comedy to Fantasy to Horror. It's 20% Fantasy 20% Horror and 60% Comedy. Very unique and you would have NO IDEA based on the box are this was mostly a comedy. The box art was also a holographic, changing as you turned it, type box. The still image jpg of the boxart doesn't reflect that but the face would move in and out of the box (seemingly) as you walked around the video store. It looked from first glance to be a terrifying, horror movie. I got to show my wife this movie and she had never seen it before. She was very impressed and I couldn't believe she'd never heard of it. She'd seen the box art though and strayed away from it because she thought it was an ultra-scary gore-fest as were most of the horror films in 1996. It's a classic and I highly recommend anyone from 13 years old to 93 years old see it! R. Lee Ermey appearing is just bonus icing on the awesome cake!

I really enjoy this movie. If you're looking for Oscar-worthy horror with lots of scares, look elsewhere. If you want a fun time with a pretty clever movie, this is it.
