January 1945. The first French regiment of paratroopers to fight with an American unit prepares to liberate Alsace in France. An Allied Division must take the forest bordering the town of Jebsheim, several days before the attack that would later be called the "French Stalingrad." Prisoners of the cold, snow, and harsh winter conditions, and pounded by German forces, the French and American soldiers experience the violence and hell of World War II - and in their struggle for freedom and survival, they will face an unexpected enemy.

Although the story line in total would have been fine, the English dinning was hod awful. Would have better if I viewed yhe French version. The dubbing was so bad it became comical..otherwise it would not have gotten 1 star.. And doscussing feelings, emotions, ethics..excuse me this is a combat flick..not a chick flick. Funny when they used the same voice for two characters talking to each other...southern accents...the budget must have dried up. When the brothers met...this is the deep dark secret. Mon cher..no surprise there! Oy Vay..
